The Customer ID is returned from the API following programmatically creating a customer. 

If your application didn't store the Customer_ID after it was initially created, you can retrieve your and search your customers via the API.

Sandbox - GET https://api-sandbox.dwolla.com/customers
Production - GET https://api.dwolla.com/customers
