Please follow the steps below to accept funds sent to you via Dwolla.

1. You'll receive an email notification when someone sends you money via Dwolla. Click "Create your account" within the email to create a free Dwolla Direct account to receive your funds. 



2. On the following page, you'll want to enter your email address and assign a password for your Dwolla Direct account. Agree to the terms of service and click "Agree and continue."


3. To receive funds, you'll want to click "Connect a bank account" so you can connect your bank or credit union account.


4. Select your account type, enter the first and last name on the account as well as the routing and account number. Enter a nickname for this account and click "Submit."


Now that your bank account is connected, your Dwolla Direct account is all set. Your payment is on the way and it will be directly deposited into your connected bank account

These funds are not eligible for individual insurance, including FDIC insurance and may not be eligible for share insurance by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund. Dwolla, Inc. is the operator of a software platform that communicates user instructions for funds transfers to Veridian Credit Union and Compass Bank.
